The Right Candidate will Possess

Technical Expertise: A crew lead must have extensive knowledge and expertise in aircraft maintenance, repair, and inspection on Bombardier Global, Challenger, and Learjet aircraft.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities are essential for a crew lead. They should be able to effectively communicate, delegate tasks, and motivate team members to achieve goals safely and efficiently.
Problem-Solving Skills: A crew lead must possess excellent problem-solving abilities. They must be able to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring safety and smooth operation of the aircraft and minimizing downtime.
Decision-making Skills: A crew lead needs to make critical decisions promptly, especially during time-sensitive situations or emergencies. They must possess the ability to analyze information, weigh options, and choose the most appropriate course of action.
Communication Skills: Effective communication is crucial for a crew lead. They must be able to clearly convey instructions, feedback, and information to team members, as well as liaise with other departments, pilots, and management.
Time Management: As a crew lead, one must be skilled in managing time effectively. This involves prioritizing tasks, creating work schedules, and ensuring that maintenance activities adhere to timelines.
Safety and Regulatory Compliance: A crew lead must have a comprehensive understanding of safety protocols, regulations, and compliance standards set by Banyan, the FAA, manufacturers, and other foreign government authorities that Banyan has the authorization to perform maintenance. They should enforce and ensure adherence to these guidelines within their team.
Experience and Certification: Crew leaders must possess an A&P license. FCC, college degree, and previous factory training are all pluses but not required.
