Fingerprinting Services Available for TSA Clearances

Fingerprinting service is available to airport employees, flight students and aircraft operators that need NATA-TSA clearance. This service is available at the Pilot Shop by appointment only on Sundays. Appointments must be made at least one day in advance by calling the store at 954-493-8615.

Before prints can be taken, the candidate must have registered and received authorization and an identification number from TSA. Airport employees, and aircraft operators can find more information at
www.tsc-csc.com and flight school candidates can register at www.flightschoolcandidates.gov.

Carlos Garcia is authorized as the certified fingerprint collector and trusted agent of TSA for the Pilot Shop.

Whether you are just purchasing a Garmin and need the initial set-up done, or if you own one and want updates, we are here to help. We’ll update the following: Garmin aera, GPSMAP 96, 96C, 196, 296, 396, 495, 496, 695, 696, 795, 796 and Garmin Panel Mounts GSN 400 and 500 series. Updates can include NavData, Obstacle, Terrain, SafeTaxi, Airport Directory, and FliteCharts for various regions, such as, the Americas, Atlantic, Pacific, Worldwide, Europe, etc. Fees for our updating services for Garmin portables vary by update type and region and start at $75. Fees for Garmin Panel Mounts, start at $275 for non-WAAS and $375 for WAAS. (We also have terrain cards and blank data cards available at Banyan Pilot Shop.) To take advantage of this service, simply bring your portable units into the store and for panel mounts, just bring your data and software card.
