Departing: Banyan Air Service Fort Lauderdale, Florida (KFXE)

There will be a pre-flight briefing Saturday March 17th at 6:30pm for those participants who have arrived (exact location to be confirmed). The group will meet at the Banyan FBO at KFXE (Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport) on Sunday March 18th at 8:00 am for a final trip review and briefing.

Itinerary
Day 1:
Meet at the Banyan FBO at the Fort Lauderdale Executive for our final pre-departure briefing. Leave Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport and fly to Treasure Cay Airport (MYAT). Clear customs and Immigration and transfer to Treasure Cay Hotel Resort & Marina. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and reconvene for dinner.

Day 2:
After breakfast, consider taking the optional tour to Green Turtle Cay. It is a short 15 minute ferry ride to the island. Rent a golf cart or bike to tour the island and New Plymouth village. Admire the turn-of-the-century homes, visit the Albert Lowe Museum, visit the Memorial Sculpture Garden, enjoy the villages small gift shops, tour the island’s pristine beaches, have lunch in one of the local restaurants and try the famous Bahamian “Goombay Smash” which is said to have originated at the Blue Bee Bar in this very village. Day trips to Man-O-War, Hope Town and Guana Cay by ferry boat are also available. If you prefer to stay in Treasure Cay you can enjoy the wonderful beach, go snorkeling or diving, spend the day fishing or play golf. The group will meet at the hotel restaurant for dinner.

Day 3:
Spend the day at leisure enjoying the beach, snorkeling, diving, fishing or golfing. The group will meet before dinner for pre-flight briefing to review the following day’s flights and activities. Dinner will be at the hotel restaurant.

Day 4:
After an early breakfast we will check out and head to the airport to fly to North Eleuthera (MYEH) where we will transfer via ferry to Harbour Island. Famous for its pink sand beaches, colorful homes and quaint shops, you can walk or rent a golf cart to tour this picturesque island. Visit Princess Street Gallery or Brushstrokes and stop for lunch at one of the many wonderful island restaurants. After lunch we will meet at the ferry dock to head back to the airport for our next flight to Great Exuma Island. We will land at Georgetown International (MYEF) and take a taxi to our hotel Peace and Plenty. We will meet later for dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Day 5:
Another day to enjoy breathtaking views of the Bahamian waters and white sand beaches. Complimentary ferry service to a pristine private beach and club on Stocking Island is available. Georgetown has a small straw market and a few gift shops for those interested in doing a little local shopping. Nearby golf, tennis and hiking is available, as well as bike, scooter and moped rentals. We will all meet before dinner for a pre-flight briefing to review the return flight to Florida.

Day 6:
After breakfast we will check out and head to Georgetown’s International Airport and fly back to Fort Lauderdale. On our way to home, enjoy a birds eye view of breathtaking Bahamian scenery as we fly along the Exuma Cays and the Great Bahama Bank.
