Banyan is proud to provide installation services for Honeywell's Aspire 200. This product is STC approved for Gulfstream GII, GIII and GIV/GIVSP. It is also compatible with other medium and large aircraft.

Aspire 200 LG provides high-quality voice and data allowing passengers to check their email, browse the internet and download documents. The system supports one channel of SwiftBroadband (SB200, up to 200Kbps) and, when combined with a high-gain antenna or our CNX-200 acceleration router, the speeds can be increased dramatically. Passengers can enjoy using their own smartphones and tablets while onboard.

Aspire supports various Inmarsat services using three main components in the aircraft — the 2 MCU Transceiver, Integrated High-power Low-noise Amplifier/Diplexer and Configuration Module provide the features and connections of larger systems.

System Components

The transceiver used is a 2 MCU unit that weighs just eight pounds and may be installed inside or outside the aircraft’s pressure vessel. The low-gain blade antenna used is small enough to provide the new SB200 service onboard short range aircraft. The system is easy to upgrade (upgrades reuse tray and wiring) to higher speed services with an intermediate-gain or high-gain antenna.
